We are also investigating issues affecting brokers, shippers, receivers, and insurance carriers. The claims and allegations under investigation by our office are not yet proven in court and remain under investigation or pending in litigation.

Created by Congress under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Task Force released its findings on predatory lease-purchase programs used by motor carriers nationwide. It concluded unanimously that these programs cause widespread harm to drivers and recommended they be prohibited.
